I was wondering if I should be worried about Copper being so excited to see me when I pick him up at doggie day care that he pees. He has only peed like there. He hasn't done it in our home (i.e when family walks in the door).

He is very excited to see you. Try just taking his leash without acknowledging him. It's the eye contact and attention a dog gets at their most heightened excitement times that causes the peeing. It's called "submissive urination". Some dogs grow out of it and others do not because it is reinforced. So minimal excitability when you go to pick him up.

Thanks Shari. I will try that and let you know what happens on Tuesday.
