The Journal of Veterinarian Behavior has published a recent study called "The effect of a pressure wrap (ThunderShirt®) on heart rate and behavior in canines diagnosed with anxiety disorder".
This study showed positive results on behalf of the Thunder shirt and it's ability to help calm dogs that have anxiety disorders. So, If your dog has separation anxiety, general anxiety, fear of noises (thunder and fireworks), travel anxiety, crate anxiety, and any other form of anxiety, consider getting one of these wraps for your dog and trying it out. Please don't leave your dog unattended for hours at a time while wearing one. Some dogs will remove the wrap and shred it. So use it first with supervision for short periods, and slowly work up the time your dog is wearing it.
